VDARE.com Editor Peter Brimelow has been doing this website for 20 years come this Christmas Eve, and I’ve been doing it or almost as long. In fact, I started writing for this site since I won a Christmas competition in 2000.
It’s true that there are people who’ve been doing it longer, because it’s been going on for a long time. A conservative Christian lawyer named Jordan Lorence wrote a book in 1987 on the war on Christmas in the public schools. Writing about it in 2010, he said that when people told him “there is no “War on Christmas” his reaction was
What? I was there! Are you denying reality? Those things actually happened! I feel like Neil Armstrong listening to someone argue that NASA faked my Apollo moon landing.
(We call this phenomenon “War On Christmas Denial”)
