The Biden Administration has been doing some things to dial back the Open Border craziness of the last three years:

In a recent interview with Biden, the President seems (a) unaware of this and (b) unaware he’s done anything wrong:

Okay, I’m gonna do a couple of rapid fire here. Another of your first acts as President under the banner of value-based leadership was to lift various punitive Trump-era immigration measures, Mr. President, that you and others said were inhumane. In retrospect, do you think those humanitarian moves helped drive record illegal border crossing?

Biden:  No.

Were you wrong to lift any of those measures?

Biden: If I was wrong, it’s because I took too long,

You’ve put some back in place. The Green Card issue, it’s been reported that you’re looking at reinstating Remain in Mexico. Are you looking at reinstating…

Biden: No

Transcript of President Joe Biden’s Interview With TIME, by TIME Staff, June 4, 2024

I thought of finding the video of this, but apparently there isn’t going to be any—and this transcript will have left out any verbal slips.

Time has a full fact check of what Biden said. It doesn’t mention anything about immigration or the border.

It suggests they should have been asking him, instead of policy questions, the standard dementia questions.

  • Do you know what your name is? (Correct Answer: Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.)
  • Do you know where you are now? (Correct Answer: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, D.C.)
  • Do you know who the President of the United States is? (Correct answer: No one really knows.)

I mean, Biden was known to be unwell and something of a puppet of his staff in September 2020, before he was President [Trump Supporter: Democrat Treatment of Joe Biden ‘Bordering on Elder Abuse,’ by Hannah Bleau, Breitbart, September 18, 2020] and we said so here:

He hasn’t gotten any better.
