While the article is, no doubt, theoretically correct, there is no doubt that the neoconservatives who control the Republican party would move heaven and earth to prevent Kris Kobach or Lou Barletta from ever getting the nomination.
James Fulford writes: The reader has a point, in that it wasn't only her Democratic opponents who went crazy when Sarah Palin was nominated, it was a lot of weak-sister Republicans, whether you call them neocons, RINOS, or metrocons.
I suggest that by 2016, the GOP may be starting to get desperate.
