So conservative commentator Monica Crowley is out
as "senior director of strategic communications for the National Security Council," whatever that means, because she is, to put it mildly, a little light-fingered with material from other scribes. To put it honestly, she is a major literary thief
, not only plagiarizing major sections of her book but also her parts of her Ph.D. thesis
from Columbia University.
Crowley's big mistake was applying for the wrong job. She should have asked to be Barack Obama's vice president eight years ago, or tried to start a career as a civil rights leader adept at lifting material from other civil rights leaders.
