Rand Paul has decided that posing with Al Sharpton and attacking white cops probably isn't the best way to prepare for the Republican primaries.  The GOP's most inconsistent politician is now reinventing himself yet again as a border security hawk in the wake of the terrorist attacks in France:

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) declared that “maybe…every Muslim immigrant that wishes to come to France shouldn’t have an open door to come” on Thursday’s “Sean Hannity Show..."

It’s also my concern here. I think our border is a danger to attack, as well as our student visa program” [Paul] stated.

What's more genuinely subversive is that Rand Paul then rolls his eyes at the Main Stream Media getting worried about "Islamophobia."

Paul also said that media outlets concerned about Islamophobia in the wake of the terrorist attacks in France were “totally deaf and dumb...I’m not too worried right now that we’ve infringed on their rights. I’m worried that Christians and Jews are being killed around the world

Somehow, I don't think this will be a popular message among the left-libertarians, many of whom are now solely defined by cultural liberalism.

So let me be the first to say — Rand Paul is now an Islamophobic bigot.  I'll expect my check from the Beltway Libertarians shortly.
