The Homeland Security Department’s new Disinformation Governance Board, also known as the Ministry of Truth, will focus on “disinformation” from Russia and the false claims that human smugglers spread below the southwest border to entice illegal aliens to pay for a trip north. As they say in the military, Bravo Sierra. They’ll be watching what you say, immigration patriots.

Noting that “misinformation aimed at migrants” has been responsible for surges of illegals, the Associated Press reported that such misinformation on Facebook and Whatsapp “led some of the 14,000 migrants to the border town of Del Rio, Texas, where they set up camp. Some were ultimately expelled and were flown out of the U.S.” [Disinformation board to tackle Russia, migrant smugglers, by Amanda Seitz, April 28, 2022].

“Some were expelled?” Let’s go to the tape:

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted on Sunday that more than 12,000 Haitian migrants have been released into the US and more may follow.

He told “Fox News Sunday” that there are about 12,400 Haitians in the process of having asylum claims heard by an immigration judge, while around 5,000 are being processed by the Department of Homeland Security.

About 3,000 are being detained.

“Approximately, I think it’s about 10,000 or so, 12,000,” Mayorkas responded when asked how many migrants have already been released.

He added that the number could go beyond 5,000 as other cases are processed.

“It could be even higher. The number that are returned could be even higher. What we do is we follow the law as Congress has passed it,” Mayorkas said.

The secretary said the administration “will make determinations whether they will be returned to Haiti based on our public health and public interest authorities.”

[Mayorkas admits 12,000 Haitians released in US — and more could follow, by Mark Moore, New York Post, September 26, 2021].

Some would be 14 percent; 86 percent stayed.

But besides that, however much the Brandon Regime is concerned about “Russian disinformation” and the lies coyotes tell to get illegals to pay for a trip to the border, immigration patriots can expect the new Truth Ministry to be watching what they say, too.

So can Trump supporters.

We might surmise that the “disinformation governance board” won’t police the Brandon Regime’s lies.

The nut of it is this: Anyone who thinks this thing will confine its surveillance to “Russians” and “human smugglers” has another think coming.

This is aimed at us.
