Immigration patriots are forgiven if they missed the news that the border agents accused of whipping Haitian illegal aliens are clear of criminal charges. But the agents aren’t clear of being fired for violating policies.

Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told the New York Post recently that the agents still might be punished [Border Patrol agents accused of ‘whipping’ migrants in legal clear, could still lose jobs, by Callie Patteson and MaryAnn Martinez, March 29, 2022].

There followed an equally unnoticed report in The Daily Caller [Border Patrol Agents Accused Of ‘Whipping’ Cleared Of Criminal Misconduct, Union Chief Says, by Jennie Taer, April 1, 2022].

A Google search reveals that the leftist MSM missed the news, and so did even most conservative media.

Reported the Post:

“The [Department of Homeland Security’s] Office of the Inspector General, they had first crack at it,” Judd told The Post. “They determined there was no criminal activity that was done so they closed out their investigation.”

Judd insisted that the agents “were doing nothing but what they were told to do. They were given orders.”

“Everything that they were doing, they were acting under the color of law,” he added. “They were placed there specifically to stop people from crossing the border.”

Judd told the Caller that the agents might be cashiered if DHS rules that they committed “policy violations.”

Why, of course!

Recall the sequence of events:

  • Leftists falsely accused the agents of whipping the illegals.
  • Mayorkas convicted them before an “investigation,” the results of which would “be available at the end of next week”—in September—he vowed.

Then, within days, he smeared them before the House Committee on Homeland Security  [Mayorkas puts border agents accused of whipping migrants ‘on desk duty,’ by Callie Patteson and Jackie Salo, New York Post, September 22, 2021].

Now, we learn, DHS won’t charge the agents with crimes. Yet the agency has not finished an investigation that Mayorkas slated to report findings a week after he smeared the agents.

The obvious reason: Brandon and his Cuban visa fraudster won’t say a thing until they find an arcane jot or tittle of DHS policy they can use to say the agents “violated policy.”

Then they’ll deliver the pink slips. Nothing must stand in the way of The Great Replacement.
