On Sunday CBS’ 60 Minutes ran an astonishingly candid piece. The transcript is here: Chinese migrants are the fastest growing group crossing from Mexico into U.S. at southern border, by Sharyn Alfonsi, February 4, 2024.
Noting that there were 2.5 Million apprehensions on the Mexican border in 2023, Alfonsi goes on:
So what's the fastest growing group among them? Chinese migrants. …We saw large groups, including many from the middle class, come through a 4-foot gap at the end of a border fence 60 miles east of San Diego.
…Over four days, we witnessed nearly 600 migrants—adults and children—pass through this hole and onto U.S. soil…unchecked….Many of the Chinese migrants who came through will end up asking for political asylum.
Make that all, Sharyn. By the time they are interviewed, all will have been coached. One Chinese woman explained she came because:
She worked in the factory but now it's hard to work in the factory.
She will rapidly learn, as another said, that the answer “Freedom” is what the Refugee-besotted Biden Gang wants to hear.
Alfonsi goes on:
We wondered how all of these migrants … knew about this particular entryway into California:
Translator: TikTok, TikTok.
TikTok is a social media platform created in China. The posts we found had step-by-step instructions for hiring smugglers and detailed directions to that hole we visited.
The unfortunate landowner over whose land these invaders come estimates that 3,000 a week are coming across. Once he fired a shot in the air to protest them cutting down his trees for firewood. He was arrested and his gun confiscated.
The Border Patrol limousine service is in full operation:
We were struck by just how orderly and routine it all seemed. The migrants walked about a half mile…waited in line for U.S. Border Patrol to arrive so they could surrender.
About two hours… we saw the Border Patrol pull up, broadcasting recorded instructions in Mandarin.
The migrants were driven to a detention facility near San Diego… Typically—within 72 hours—they are released into the United States and can begin the process of filing an asylum claim.
The U.S. authorities display zero interest in stopping this influx.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection told us their agents don't have authority to stop people from coming through gaps like this one and can only arrest them after they've entered illegally.
(Which means they can deploy the asylum lie.)
As for closing that gap, they said it is on their priority list. But would require money from Congress.
To close a 4-foor gap!

This noted that Chinese immigration is an
… EXISTENTIAL THREAT to the USA and the American people. On Google’s current numbers, China’s population at 1.412 billion is 4.27 times that of America (331.9 million) and 2.12 times that of all Latin America (667.12 million).
A proportionately quite small exodus will transform America, not to the benefit of Americans.
The point to grasp here is that enormous numbers of Chinese are affluent enough to pay the considerable costs of Darien Gap transit, and that they are intelligent enough to ameliorate the problems involved.
Another point to grasp is that with China’s draconian internet censorship, the posting of Tik Tok guidance for immivaders means that the Chinese Regime is tolerant of this exodus. The Muckraker video referenced above stressed the high proportion of military-age young men they saw. This was less apparent in the CBS piece.
But CBS is to be highly commended for running this, especially in an election year. Their popularity in Washington must have nose-dived.
