The metaphors don't get any better (or worse) than this:

A van carrying Hillary Clinton, fresh from throwing her #MeToo sisters under the bus this weekend, crashed into a parking garage pillar on the way to a New Jersey campaign fundraiser Tuesday for beleaguered Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez. At her side was Huma Abedin, who is divorcing convicted serial sexter and underage girl stalker ex-Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the accident. But politically, damaged goods plus damaged goods equals an epic car wreck.

Tone-deaf Clinton had just earned recriminations from the left's resistance wing for defending her horndog hubby on "CBS Sunday," where she flatly denied that the 49-year-old commander in chief's Oval Office sexcapades with 22-year-old intern Monica Lewinsky were an "abuse of power" because, well, "she was an adult."

This is the same fauxminist champion who sidled up to disgraced Hollyweirdo Harvey Weinstein despite warnings from entertainment industry insiders about his alleged sexual predation of young starlets that reportedly dated back to 2008.

Question: Who could have possibly thought it a good idea for Hillary and Huma to front a women-themed party for Sleaze-Bob Menendez?

The War on Christmas is starting early this year: according to Karina Bolster at WWBT in Richmond, Virginia, the chorus teacher at Robious Middle School has decided to drop songs mentioning Jesus from upcoming concerts. A Trump rally is a combination of an evangelical service, a circus, a fair and a rock concert. The excitement is palpable, and I think the Donald gets as big a charge out of it as the attendees. Plus, it’s good for Trump to get out beyond the beltway and connect with his base. Here we have a New York City billionaire in tune with middle class American folks in Flyover Country. It’s amazing, and it’...

Relations between France and Italy have collapsed in recent weeks as French president Emmanuel Macron has savagely criticized Matteo Salvini for the Italian's opposition to mass immigration. Now, the battle has escalated to outright biological warfare, as servants of the French state are dumping migrants in Italy.  French gendarmes have admitted driving two undocumented immigrants over the Italian...

Conrad Black has been a stalwart Trump supporter within the hostile environment of Conservatism Inc. He has a new column up at American Greatness which has a brilliant idea for throwing our corrupt political establishment into disarray.  I suggest that the next U.S. ambassador should be Ann Coulter. Her political views, unlike Ambassador Haley’s, have long been supportive of Trump, and although th...

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has finally done what Republican leaders should have done long ago: propose legislation to fully fund President Trump’s border wall. This allows the GOP to make immigration the key issue in next month’s mid-terms, exactly as VDARE.com has long urged, and marks another step in Trump’s takeover of the party. Of course McCarthy’s move is a symbol, but it’s our symbol and we should disregard quibbles about it.

“Build the Wall” was undoubtedly Trump’s most popular promise on the campaign trail, yet he has failed to deliver on this pledge. Funding bills have come and gone, legislation has flopped, and bluffs have been called. The American people still have no wall construction on the border with Mexico, and Trump has no good explanation (other than to point to monies that are being expended on

Enter Kevin McCarthy, the very face of the Republican Establishment, to offer a life raft to the President’s agenda.

McCarthy announced last week that he plans to introduce a wall funding bill right before the November election. His Build the Wall, Enforce the Law Act would provide an additional $23.4 billion to wall funding over seven years and also includes strong immigration measures such as harsher sentences for illegal aliens caught reentering the country and cutting off funds for sanctuary cities.

I am looking forward to the rebound controversy tomorrow in which the Prestige Media takes Trump’s bait and runs stories denouncing Trump for LYING that Senator Elizabeth Warren is only 1/1000th American Indian when the Settled Science suggests she is actually more likely 1/256th American Indian. Over the weekend Donald Trump warned of "severe punishment" if an investigation concludes that a Saudi hit team murdered Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

Riyadh then counter-threatened, reminding us that, as the world's largest oil exporter, Saudi Arabia "plays an impactful and active role in the global economy."

Message: Sanction us, and we may just sanction you.

Some of us yet recall how President Nixon's rescue of Israel in the 1973 Yom Kippur War triggered a Saudi oil embargo that led to months of long gas lines in the United States, and contributed to Nixon's fall.

Yesterday, a week after Jared Kushner had been assured by his friend Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that Khashoggi walked out of the consulate, Trump put through a call to King Salman himself.

Once again, California leads the way. But not where we want to go.

The former Golden State’s U.S. Senate election pits two Democrats against each other. That’s because of California’s “jungle primary,” whereby the top two vote recipients face each other, party regardless. That pretty much means Republicans can’t win.

One candidate is 26-year incumbent Dianne Feinstein. Her opponent: Open Borders Latino Kevin de Leon. Incredibly, he claims Feinstein, who earned an F- from Numbers USA, is too tough on immigrants. Feinstein beat de Leon by a whopping 32.7 points in the top-two primary, but thestate party convention endorsed de Leon. [In rebuke of Dianne Feinstein, Kevin de León wins endorsement of California Democrats in Senate race, By Phil Willon, LA Times, July 14, 2018]That’s how far out California Democrats have become.

Kevin de Leon is a rising star on the Barack Obama model. Like Obama, De Leon is a mixed-race politician with daddy issues, identifying with a father who abandoned him. Like Obama, De Leon was an activist, community organizer, then a politician. Like Obama, De Leon is a creation of the Main Stream Media. Like Obama, de Leon is a handsome, amiable-looking fellow with a winning smile.

But De Leon, former president pro tempore of the state Senate, has more administrative political experience than Obama did. And he has even less experience in the private sector.

The Main Stream Media is quite clear about it: Mixed-race people are more intelligent and taller than are either of their parents [People born to genetically-diverse parents likely to be taller and more intelligent, says study, By Steve Connor, The Independent, July 1, 2015]. And they are also, in general, physically more attractive than mono-racial people [It’s a wonderful, mixed-up world, By Philip Hollis, The Daily Telegraph, November 1, 2009].  A total exaggeration, of course —but it is true that mixed-race people tend to be more crazy.

Needless to say, the mixed-race reality is more nuanced than the MSM reports. Edinburgh University’s Dr Peter Joshi and his team, analysed health and genetic information in 100 studies conducted worldwide, including details on more than 350,000 people, living in both urban and rural areas. They did find that “genetic diversity” (their term for “mixed-race”) is associated with higher IQ, being taller, and having higher levels of education; likely due to being more intelligent. [Directional dominance on stature and cognition in diverse human populations, By P.K. Joshi et al., Nature, July 2015]

But this is subtly different from the MSM reports. On massive samples, mixed-race people are more likely to have these qualities, but it is certainly doesn’t mean that a mixed-race child will always be taller, smarter, and cleverer than either of its parents. In many cases, it’ll slightly better than intermediate between its parents. This will mean that where, for example, a white father has an IQ of 100 and the black mother has an IQ of 96 then the child may well have a higher IQ than either of them. Nevertheless, in general, if a white person (average IQ: 100) has a child with a random black American person (average IQ: 85), that child will be less intelligent than the white parent.

There is certainly a phenomenon known as “hybrid vigor.” It fascinated Darwin, who observed, in Origin of Species that if you mix two strains you often end up with a hardier strain, saying that these crosses give “vigour and fertility to the offspring.” [Hybridism, Origin of Species, Ch. 8,]. Reason: the higher the level of genetic diversity, the less likely it is that a child will inherit two copies of a (almost always damaging) mutant allele. This, in turn, means that the child will likely have an optimally functioning nervous system, which will allow the child to more easily fight off diseases—whereas those with weaker immune systems would spend disproportionately more of their energy doing so, directing resources away from growth. So mixed-race people end up being taller.

Similarly, fewer of mixed-race people’s resources are directed away from the growth of the brain and there are fewer mutations which might slow down their nervous system. So, mixed-race people will be more intelligent than either of their parents, assuming their parents’ intelligence is roughly equal. Specifically, they are able to solve cognitive problems more quickly, speed being a crucial part of IQ tests.
