The Southwest Border Crossing numbers from October are out, and they're bad.

Last month Customs and Border Protection apprehended over 230,678 illegals at the southern border with Mexico, a record for apprehensions in the month of October ever recorded.

As Center For Immigration Studies points out, last month saw a 28% increase over apprehensions in October 2021, not even including the estimated 64,000 gotaways who escaped detection.

And one more thing: last month’s migrant apprehensions exceeded the totals for the month of October in FY 2016, FY 2017, FY 2018, FY 2019, and FY 2020 — combined.
