We previously covered the story of Shelley M. Joseph, a Newton District Court Judge who collaborated with her court deputy to sneak an illegal alien out of her courtroom to help him evade a federal agent who arrived to deport him.
After charges against the judge were ultimately dropped in September, the Supreme Judicial Court moved to reinstate Joseph, putting her back on the bench.
The illegal alien she is responsible for turning loose was a twice-deported felon and fugitive wanted on narcotics possession and drunk driving charges, but, in the arms of Joseph, was let loose.

The decision not to prosecute Joseph is shamelessly ideological. It’s a decree from the lawless regime that openly and proudly refuses to stop illegal immigration and in fact is aiding and abetting it. If the regime won’t enforce the law itself, it certainly won’t prosecute a local judge whose own crimes mirror regime policy that amounts to treason.
