Rasmussen's Daily Tracking Poll (Oct. 17) shows Romney's lead down a point, to 49-48.

All of which leaves Gallup, which yesterday reported Romney leading Obama 50-46 with a white share of 61%, very much the outlier. Gallup today reported that Romney's lead had grown a point, to 51-45, but did not provide a racial breakdown.
