The Fox News video below says people are starting to question refugee resettlement. Some people in St. Cloud MN may have been questioning it as they got stitched up in the local Emergency Room.

Patrick Cleburne, on the other hand, reports that the usual suspects are trying to repress any questions at all about resettlement—see Somali St. Cloud Stabbings: MN Establishment Rushes To Repress Anti-Refugee Opinion

Let's hear from Ann Corcoran of Refugee Resettlement Watch, who's been questioning refugee resettlement for years and years.

Here's she's quoting a Politico story:

UNITED NATIONS — The New York-area hunt for an Afghan-born bombing suspect cast a pall on this week’s gathering of international leaders at the U.N. General Assembly, a session U.S. President Barack Obama plans to use to rally support for helping the world’s refugees....

“I just saw that and wanted to weep,” a U.S.-based refugee advocate told POLITICO as news spread of the manhunt. “Trump is going to be all over this bullshit.”

Here she's quickly able to answer a question the MSM won't even ask
Here is a report that says he came as a child in a family that sought asylum here, so that makes him a refugee. The asylum process is the other half of the Refugee Admissions Program and the difference is that in the case of asylum, the migrant gets in here on his or her own steam, usually illegally, and then applies for asylum.  Clearly, if he is now a citizen, his father/family were approved political refugees. The other type of refugee we usually write about is chosen abroad and flown here

Is the New York bombing suspect a refugee?

She gets a chance to be bipartisan:
Breitbart has a story pinning the blame for the large number of Somalis in the US on Hillary Clinton, but let’s be fair!  Every President’s State Department since the early ’80’s has admitted Somalis to America.

Back in 2008 I painstakingly went back to annual reports for many years (before we had access to the Refugee Processing Center) and here is what I reported and subsequently updated each year since.

I’ve taken the numbers I had gathered and grouped them by the President whose State Department was admitting the refugees.  If, as we are told, the St. Cloud jihadist came to America with his family 15 years ago, that would have put him in Clinton’s last bunch or Bush’s first bunch.

We have been taking Somalis ever since Somalia’s civil war in the 1980’s. Why is it our problem if the myriad Somali clans can’t get along or govern themselves!

And finally, her early report on Dahir Adan, above:
Here is a story about his original resettlement, as a child, in Fargo, ND. It is a short drive from Fargo to St. Cloud (I drove it while on my RRW road trip this summer).

I guess as time goes  on we will hear if he came to the US as a refugee youngster and benefited from the generosity of US and state taxpayers or whether he is a relatively new refugee (the vast majority of the Somalis in the US came in through the Refugee Admissions Program).

Only a small fraction of the nearly 200,000 Somalis in the US now came in through other legal means (some came illegally across our southern border).

Remember what MN Governor Dayton said last year, don’t like our Somalis get out of Minnesota!
