The Knoxville NBC affiliate reports that the retrials for the Knoxville Horror defendants will begin next month as previously announced.
The "alleged" ringleader, Lemaricus Davidson, will be tried first. Jury selection is scheduled to start on June 4 with the trial to begin the next week on June 11.
Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom were kidnapped, raped, and murdered in 2007. Davidson and three other defendants were tried and convicted in the case, but they are being re-tried because of the official misconduct of former Judge Richard Baumgartner.
The county from which the jury pool will be selected has yet to be revealed.
