Representative G.K. Butterfield (D-NC), a Bermudan-American who is the former chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, announced he won’t be running for re-election in 2022.

G.K. Butterfield is strikingly similar in appearance to G.K. Chesterton, although with silkier hair:

“G.K. Chesterton” was a fitting name for the hyper-English and famously portly writer, but “G.K. Butterfield” would have been even more on-brand for him.

Anyway, with G.K. Butterfield announcing his retirement, I’ve got to use up all my material on him.
