The Daily Caller's Jim Treacher on this photograph above:

1.) Holder’s been smoldering about the Daily Caller — Speaking Truth to Power is good, as long as the power is in the hands of a Republican. Otherwise, knock it off. That’s what TheDC’s Neil Munro and Matthew Boyle learned yesterday:

“Embattled Attorney General Eric Holder today demanded The Daily Caller stop publishing articles about the growing calls in Congress for his resignation because of the failed Operation Fast and Furious gun-walking program. As Holder’s aide was escorting the attorney general offstage following his remarks Tuesday afternoon at the White House, a Daily Caller reporter introduced himself and shook Holder’s hand. The reporter asked him for a response to the growing chorus of federal legislators demanding his resignation. Holder stepped towards the exit, then turned around, stepped back toward the reporter, and sternly said, ‘You guys need to — you need to stop this. It’s not an organic thing that’s just happening. You guys are behind it.’”

Which he said while literally finger-pointing. Well, if anybody knows about shoveling stuff that’s organic, it’s Eric Holder.
That was November 30, 2011, and we've used that picture several times since as an illustration of Holder's attitude, but he waited until today to resign. Here are some responses from Twitter:

Of course, I see the point of the comparison with Reno, a dangerously power-mad woman, responsible for the massacre at Waco, Texas, but Eric Holder's motives were specifically racist. The white liberals at Vox.com approve of this:

So does this black lady in Brooklyn:

However, with a little of the right kind of luck, this will not be the last Eric Holder story:
