The AP has as a story about resistance to Biden’s illegal shipping of “paroled” immigrants around the country called “Florida OKs bill aimed at keeping immigrants out of state” appearing in almost 4000 places around the web according to Google.

Here's one:

Florida OKs bill aimed at keeping immigrants out of state

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — All Florida government agencies would be barred from doing business with transportation companies that bring immigrants to the state who are in the country illegally under a bill sent to Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday.

The bill is a priority for the Republican governor and an effort to to [sic] keep the federal government from sending people crossing the Mexican border illegally to Florida. DeSantis, who is running for reelection this year and is a potential 2024 presidential contender, has repeatedly criticized President Joe Biden’s immigration policies.

The House voted 77-42 in favor of the bill, with Republicans saying illegal immigration needs to be dealt with and Democrats saying that the only reason for the bill is to boost DeSantis’ political ambitions and it plays into fears about immigrants.

“I came to America the correct way,” said Republican Rep. Webster Barnaby, who immigrated from England. “This is all about enforcement. This is all about stopping those people that are illegally bringing people ... directly to Florida from being able to do that.”

Barnaby said immigrants being transported to states after crossing the Mexican border illegally “is nothing short of an invasion.”[More]

Barnaby, pictured right, is a native of Birmingham, England, born 1959, and obviously the child of (also legal) Commonwealth Immigrants to the UK.

He’s actually pictured in this Toronto Star version of the AP story, but the AP doesn't mention anything about him being a black Republican.

Of course, the point of the legislation is that these are illegal immigrants, and Biden is allowing them to stay, treasonously, and arguably illegally, while his "shipping them around the country" is a Federal imposition on the States. See The Pernicious Perversion of Parole: A 70-year battle between Congress and the president,  by George Fishman, CIS.org, February 16, 2022.

Legal immigrants are also a problem for Florida, but there's nothing a State government can really do about it, so the AP's headline is really bad.

There's a sob story bit at the end, where Democrat Joe Geller, who's married to a Hispanic woman, plays the "all-men-are-brothers" card:

“Don’t give into this fearmongering, don’t give into this hate, don’t give into this treating people like they are not human beings. They are. They’re our brothers and sisters. Treat them decently, treat them with respect,” said Democratic Rep. Joe Geller.

Well, all men may be brothers, and even sisters, but that doesn't apply to illegal invasions. The Ukrainians are much more "brothers" to the Russian people than Mexicans are to Americans, but President Zelensky keeps insisting that the difference, is, in a classic phrase: "We live here!"
