Dallas' Mexican Consul General Juan Carlos Cué Vega may be the new guy in town. But someone should clue him in before he starts talking about making over the Mexican image.

The idea bombed when in 2006 when Allyn and Company invoiced Mexico and President Vicente Fox nearly $750,000 to win over "American's hearts and minds."

Imagine today, nearly four years later, what a waste of time and money a similar effort would be.
