While of course smug Twitter leftists jumped to the conclusion that a "right winger" shot up the Alabama legislators house, about 30 seconds of web searching (via Duck Duck Go) reveals that Ms. Figures has a 'troubled' adult son, Akil Figures, below.
He appears to have been involved in some sort of love triangle and was shot in the leg by another black male back in June of 2018[State Senator's son shot twice; suspect surrenders to police, WALA, June 18, 2018]In September of the same year he was arrested on a domestic violence charge [Akil Figures, son of AL State Senator, arrested on domestic violence charge, WKRG, September 18, 2018 ].
Akil Figures criminal record goes back at least as far as 2002, and he was arrested on possession of a controlled substance in 2005. It would not be surprising if the gunfire directed at Vivian Figure's house had some connection with her Hunter Biden-esque offspring.
