Years ago in Lewiston, Maine, a gang of Somalis attacked a group of white residents in the city’s Kennedy Park. One Somali named Emmanuel Nkurunziza, a teenager at the time, hurled a rock at Donald Giusti, striking him on the head. Giusti fell to the ground, and the mob of Somolians proceeded to swarm his body, kicking and stomping the passed out victim. He died from his injuries three days later.

This week, that Somalian who threw the rock has submitted an Alford Plea to criminally negligent manslaughter. In case you were wondering, an Alford Plea does not admit guilt, but instead recognizes that prosecutors have enough evidence to convict.

With redefined charges, Nkurunziza’s 10-year sentence has now been brought down to just a 9 month stay in prison, with no expectation that he’ll be deported.

Of course, the lying press at the Sun-Journal referred to the Somali as a “Lewiston man,” and twice claimed the rock only “apparently” struck Giusti, despite video evidence showing that there was no question Nkurunziza deliberately targeted the victim.
