By the way, Badger Pundit points out that the elected President is equipped with a panoply of legal powers to protect the civil rights of Americans from violence by masked men, up to and including federalizing the California National Guard if state officials refuse to uphold civil rights such as freedom of speech.

This is a crucial point to remember: While the other side has a near monopoly on criminal violence, hate crimes, and lies, we have freedom, justice, and the rule of law.

We must support the rule of law.
