A U.S. attorney will not prosecute a judge in Massachusetts who aided and abetted the escape of an illegal alien from her courtroom. The outrageous decision is the clearest sign yet from the Biden Regime that equality before the law is dead, and that Anarcho-Tyranny runs the judicial system.

The story of Newton District Court Judge Shelley M. Joseph’s remarkable escape from prosecution begins in 2019. She and her bailiff helped a previously deported felon, Oscar Manuel Peguero, also known as Jose Medina-Perez, slip out the back door of her courtroom to escape Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE was there to deport him.

Then U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, Andrew Lelling, charged the two with obstruction of justice and other crimes.

But now, with a Brandon Regime prosecutor on the case, she won’t face charges. “This case is about the conduct of a sitting state court judge, on the bench, in the course of her judicial duties,” said Zachary Cunha, U.S. Attorney for the District of Rhode Island:

Its purpose has been to shed light on, and, as warranted, to secure accountability for that conduct. After I was assigned to oversee this matter, I undertook a full and comprehensive review of the evidence, the applicable law, and relevant equitable and prudential factors. Having done so, I have concluded that the interests of justice are best served by review of this matter before the body that oversees the conduct of Massachusetts state court judges, rather than in a continued federal criminal prosecution.

That’s the long way of saying this: The Brandon Regime itself not only won’t enforce immigration law, but also won’t prosecute leftist judges who aid and abet illegals in escaping deportation orders.

Joseph will “refer herself” to the Massachusetts Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Like that will teach her a lesson. Given the Massachusetts Bar Assocation’s resolution of 2017 to protect “undocumented immigrants,” don’t expect the commission to punish the Treason Lobby Kritarch.

Do expect her fellow kritarchs to get the message: Do what you want to keep illegals in the country. The law does not apply to you.
