A hat tip to Occidental Dissent’s Jaye Ryan for highlighting this amazing if short speech from Donald Trump [Donald Trump’s Best Speech Ever, February 27, 2023]. The 4-minute-15-second talk flew under our radar. Message: If Trump is elected, the communist clown show in the public schools and federal education bureaucracy will end.

The Highlights:

  • Our public schools have been taken over by the radical left maniacs.

  • We will cut federal funding for any school or program pushing critical race theory, gender ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content onto our children.

  • I will direct the department[s] of Justice and Education to open civil rights investigations into any school district that has engaged in race-based discrimination. That includes discrimination against Asian-Americans.

  • The Marxism being preached in our schools is also totally hostile to Judeo-Christian teachings, and in many ways it’s resembling an established new religion. … My administration will aggressively pursue potential violations of the establishment clause and the free exercise clause of the Constitution.

  • On day one, we will begin to find and remove the radical zealots and Marxists who have infiltrated the federal Department of Education. … Joe Biden has given these lunatics unchecked power. I will have them fired and escorted from the building.

  • I will veto the sinister effort to weaponize civics education, we will keep men out of women’s sports, and we will create a new credentialing body, that will be the gold standard, anywhere in the world, to certify teachers who embrace patriotic values, support our way of life, and understand that their job is not to indoctrinate children, but very simply to educate them.

Trump also wants a parental Bill of Rights with “complete curriculum transparency.” And parents, he said, must be given the power to elect school principals.

Watch the whole thing:

That message should help galvanize white voters in 2024’s presidential election. In Virginia in 2021, GOP gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin’s similar but lower-octane talking points pulled 62 percent of white voters, who were 73 percent of the total. Sixty-six percent of white men and 57 percent of white women voted for Youngkin, who defeated leftist Terry McAuliffe 50.6 percent to 48.6.

One proviso: Trump’s success hinges on this kind of loud and clear message. But he must be consistent, and he must add an immigration-restriction plan that is even more uncompromising than 2016’s.

If he does that, he might just be the GOP nominee next year and defeat 2020’s communist coup plotters.
