IÂ haven`t read Michael Savage`s latest book, Trickle Up Poverty,
but I just wanted to say something about the title, which is excellent.
Partly because of the welfare state, and partly because of crime, even if we can avoid poverty ourselves
, the other people who are poor cost us money.
The presence in your community of people who pay less in taxes than they consume in taxpayer-funded services will cost you money on your tax bill.
Unless you actually are an employer of cheap labor, like a wealthy farmer
or a contractor, immigration represents a loss to you, and that`s "Trickle Up Poverty."
