In an attempt to show her border-security credentials, Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Friday will become Arizona’s first elected official to meet with National Guard troops recently deployed to the state’s nearly 370-mile border with Mexico.Yes, this is the Gabrielle Giffords whose dismal NumbersUSA D+ career ranking has been created by not voting on most immigration issues and scoring F- in the ”Reduce Amnesty Entitlements” and the ”Reduce Unnecessary Worker visas” categories.
Giffords of course captured the seat in 2006 after the GOP Establishment sabotaged the campaign of the Republican trying to hold it—a proto-Tea Party situation.
After the McCain fiasco, Patriots have to have doubts about Arizona voter sagacity. But there is always hope…
