In an attempt to show her border-security credentials, Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Friday will become Arizonaâ€™s first elected official to meet with National Guard troops recently deployed to the stateâ€™s nearly 370-mile border with Mexico.Yes, this is the Gabrielle Giffords whose dismal NumbersUSA D+ career ranking has been created by not voting on most immigration issues and scoring F- in the â€?Reduce Amnesty Entitlementsâ€? and the â€?Reduce Unnecessary Worker visasâ€? categories.
Giffords of course captured the seat in 2006 after the GOP Establishment sabotaged the campaign of the Republican trying to hold it—a proto-Tea Party situation.
