VDARE.com editor James Fulford provides a current example of my subject in his blog entry NYT Calls Bastille Day Muslim Kamikaze Truck Driver A “Frenchman Of Tunisian Origin”.

This brings to mind the old joke about how the press in the Soviet Union would have reported the outcome of a footrace between a Russian and an American that was won by the American (omitting the point that it was a two-person competition): "In an exciting race, the Russian runner triumphantly came in second, while the American finished next to last."
