For years I’ve been warning Americans about Mexican meddling in U.S. politics. Few seem to care, certainly not our politicians.

Kevin Stitt, the Republican governor of Oklahoma recently named the Mexican consul in Oklahoma City to a state task force dealing with foreign labor. No kidding, read about it here: Oklahoma Governor Signs Law Cracking Down on Illegal Immigration—While Boosting Foreign Labor In State, Border Hawk, May 3, 2024.  I’ve yet to hear of one Oklahoma Republican politician or conservative activist speaking out against it.

Mexico is having a presidential election; voting takes place in less than two weeks.

In the last debate, the candidates discussed U.S. immigration policy.  Read about it here on my new website Mexico News Report.

One sample, from Xochitl Galvez, considered the right-wing candidate:

“We are going to demand a program of regularization for the migrants in the United States...” [In Third Debate, Mexican Presidential Candidates Discuss Immigration and Mexicans in the United States, May 21, 2024].

Amnesty, in other words.
