The election results are already coming in, and CNN has already called Kentucky for Senate Minority Leader (possible Majority Leader?)  McConnell has had a fairly solid record on immigration and his victory over Alison Lundergan Grimes came after an initial scare.  Grimes initially developed a following by backing away from her pro-amnesty position and adopting a faux populist stance on issues like trade, but it seems to have faded in the final weeks of the campaign.
