What are you going to do when the well runs dry?

Today, a friend sent me a photograph from just north of Sacramento. The northern part of the state is getting snow and hail after a long period of no precipitation.[Rain, snow and hail pound Northern California at end of bone-dry February, By Dale Kasler and Benjy Egel, SacBee, February 26, 2018]

Despite all the rain last year and the rainy forcast for the next week, Northern California is still facing drought. For Southern California, the drought never ended and the Thomas Fire in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties set the record for the largest fire in state history.

Despite the drought, the immigration-driven population continues to increase in California. Nevertheless, the State legislators declared California a Sanctuary State. Come one; come all.
