Trump treaded water with Protestants, modestly bled Catholic support, gained a lot of ground with Jews and Mormons, and lost ground among the growing number of religiously unaffiliated Americans, who increased from 15% of the electorate in 2016 to 21% of the electorate in 2020:

The Mormon increase is due to CIA spook Evan McMullin running to spoil Trump in 2016 and siphoning off 21% of the Utahan vote in the process. The increase in Jewish support is a riddle wrapped inside an enigma, totally inscrutable.
