The Christian Science Monitor reviews the new film Border War:

Do you want to get good and steamed up about illegal immigration? See "Border War." Do you want to get a better sense of what needs to be done to secure the homeland? See "Border War." Remarkably, this documentary is coming to a theater, or at least a screen, near you.

I watched the trailer for the film on the film's website. What I noticed in researching Border War is that it appears to be showing in very few theaters-and will be available on DVD next month. This is the next thing to a "straight to DVD" release. Still, I think it is important to see this issue covered in film at all. I can believe that in a few years, we'll see the immigration restriction issue entering into films that have major theater distribution access.
