Affirmative Action and
"diversity"
programs have been detrimental to social and economic
efficiency because you cannot simultaneously
pursue diversity and excellence. What you WILL do
is lower the level of accepted competence, and dumb down
the entire system; and like a metastasizing cancer,
mediocrity will spread throughout the culture. Combine
diversity with institutional
"credentialism," and you get people in positions of authority without
talent, experience or basic leadership skills; but a
