Isn't it time for action?
Every time an illegal proclaims his status, our Immigration Officers should arrest them and hold them for further investigation. Once their history is determined, their assets should be seized and the money owed to the US for various services rendered on our dime is reimbursed to the rightful authorities.
Fees for basic education, college education (non-California student status), medical bills if any, and fines for being here illegally should be collected before deporting the person presto to their homeland.
If brought here as minors by parents, the parents should also be rounded up, fees collected, and then deported.
These people are NOT citizens and would therefore not be given the rights of one.
Furthermore, people aiding and abetting illegals would be guilty of aiding and abetting crime.
Time to put strict laws into action and tolerate no nonsense.
