Re: Today's Letter: A Florida Reader Notes That Elian Gonzales Is Thriving In Florida

Letter writer Frank Pepe stated: "Gonzales is also a Communist."

But Gonzales probably received less Communist indoctrination in Cuba than if he had gone to an American public school in Miami.

Certainly Gonzales was exposed to less anti-(traditional) American philosophy than he would have been in the United States where most schools preach the pro-illegal immigration curriculum.
