This fiscal year, Border Agents have encountered nearly 180,000 Cubans at the southwest border with Mexico. But why? An article from the Daily Caller’s Jorge Ventura explains that Cubans are purchasing plane tickets heading South to Nicaragua. Upon arrival, those Cubans link up with human traffickers who guide them back up through central America and into Mexico on their journey to the United States.
Why Nicaragua? As Ventura points out: “Nicaragua doesn’t require a visa from Cubans to fly into, unlike Mexico.”
The total cost for escaping Castro’s paradise to break into the United States illegally: $23,000
That fee covers airline travel, hotels, transport, and payments to cartel smugglers.
Given the large number of Cubans making this journey, we can safely assume that the Cuban regime is uninterested in stopping its subjects from leaving the country.
And on the flipside, Traitor Joe Biden and his Homeland Security Chief, unindicted visa fixer Alejandro Mayorkas, are uninterested in stopping them from entering our country.
That is unsurprising. Mayorkas is a Cuban immigrant.
