His name is Christopher Brennan: A White man from St. Louis, who while standing in his backyard, was shot in the head by a 20-year-old Black male.
Kyle Stone is now charged with the murder of Brennan.
Police say that in the evening hours on May 20th, Brennan was approached by Stone while standing in his backyard. A struggle ensued, ultimately leading to Stone shooting Brennan several times.
According to witnesses, Christopher Brennan was simply taking out the trash when he was confronted by Stone.
Within 20 minutes of the shooting, Stone was apprehended by St. Louis police.
Locals have since identified Stone as the perpetrator of various crimes around the city.
A coffee shop owner released these surveillance images showing Stone, and claims that the Black 20-year-old is responsible for stealing a customer’s laptop, $40 in employee tips, and a customer’s cell-phone.
