Casualty figures out of the Ukraine war are much in dispute, but nobody doubts that the other side’s losses are high.

It’s almost as if Europeans are pretty good at war. I realize that Twitter experts have many complicated theories about why Russians must be better at war than Ukrainians (who are also Russians, except at waging war). But, in truth, they are both white, so it’s hardly surprising they are killing each other a whole lot.
