I have a fantasy. It’s that every Democrat gets what they voted for personally on their doorstep. They want an open border, fine. But, they have to tear down any fencing around their property. They have to take the teeming hordes in to their communities, if not their homes. When someone like comedian Louis C.K. calls for open borders and actually says, “It shouldn’t be so great here in America,” then may he take in as many illegal aliens as he can afford until he feels like his life isn’t so great.
Don’t put those illegals in another barrio, put them in Louis’s house. The same goes for Chuck Schumer and all the other open-borders advocates. You want them, you get them.
Speaking of getting them, there are rumors that the immigration crisis is putting Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson in the hospital with panic attacks [Chicago mayor treated at hospital for panic attacks amid illegal immigrant crisis, reporter claims, The Post Millennial, January 20, 2024]. Good, it sounds like he wants more of them. Liberals should be made to feel the pain of their own policies.
I had an aunt years ago. We had gone up to visit her and the family, if memory serves me right, for my grandmother’s memorial service. My liberal aunt (they are all far Leftists) said that we could let in millions more immigrants. “We have all this room. We can put them in farm fields in Iowa.” She fully bought into the “Magic Dirt” theory. Immigrants would thrive simply by arriving on the sacred dirt and success would come automatically. Of course, new immigrants don’t want to be camping out in a farm field in Iowa or any other state. They wanted what she had, a big, beautiful home in a wealthy suburb. Rather than force immigrants on some farmer in Iowa (or any other state), she should have been forced to have immigrants (whether legal or not) in her neighborhood. Put your money where your mouth is, take them in.
The liberals must be made to feel the pain of their own policies. If Nancy Pelosi has a wall around her property, then she should tear it down before saying that walls are immoral [Far-right activist sets up ‘caravan sanctuary’ on Nancy Pelosi’s lawn, NY Post, January 14, 2019]. A few thousand aliens camping out on her property is what she deserves before she can lecture the rest of the nation.
The Left needs to feel the pain of what they want to force on others.
Sending illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard or Kamala Harris’ Vice Presidential residence is a good start, but they really need to target the individuals who advocate for it. Drop them off at Biden’s house on Rehoboth Beach. When a news anchor advocates for more illegal aliens, drop them off in front of their house with instructions to knock on the door and ask to stay. Find out where Mayorkas lives and give him a few thousand of the teeming masses yearning to breathe free.

It seems Naperville, Illinois Councilman Josh McBroom is proposing that people do that voluntarily. I thought he might be trolling the Left, but after seeing his video, I suspect he’s actually sincere.

It was a challenge to those who support open border policy to live their virtues. For anyone here who missed the nuance, progressives are laughing at you. They have been quiet on this, because they want no part of it. Which was the point.
