My impression is that folks in California are getting so inured to bad behavior among immigrants that folks are just tuning out. A San Gabriel, California, gang made huge profits on a marriage scam and drug sales and they possessed weapons and ho hum.

I read it in the Santa Maria Times because they have a big problem with immigrant farm workers, mostly illegal and the comments on the Santa Maria Times site about this article were. . .zip, nada. If this gang operated in Kansas, would anyone have noticed? I am starting to think that it would still be a ho hum.
