Of course, this is the same Jonah Goldberg who wrote Ideologues Have Hijacked an Important Debate, [Los Angeles Times, February 24, 2002] in which he attacked Pat Buchanan, Sam Francis, Peter Brimelow and VDARE.com by name. And he spent years working for Buckley`s National Review, which still considers its proudest achievement "cleaning up" the conservative movement, so I don`t know how sincere this new attitude is. Just be aware that it is a new attitude.
