The “racial reckoning” helps set an all-time U.S. record for biggest percentage increase in homicides: 29% more killings in 2020 than 2019, with the bulk of the explosion in carnage following George Floyd’s death:

That’s bad.

Here’s monthly change year-over-year. You can see that homicides were ramping up, then absolutely exploded during the racial reckoning. Heckuva job at getting blacks murdered, BLMie! The CDC data is from here. Blacks killing blacks likely numbered somewhere around 12,000 or more in 2020 and blacks killed by police numbered 244 according to the Washington Post, so about 49 to 1.
