‘You can drive out Nature with a pitchfork, but she keeps on coming back.’ – Horace No matter the deprivations white liberals (once dubbed Disingenuous White Liberals) are willing to expose themselves to when it comes to engaging in mental gymnastics to excuse away the reality of black criminality, equalitarian contortionists will always fail. Republicans seem to be drawing exactly the wrong lesson from the wreckage of November 3 and ensuing runoffs in Georgia: That the uptick in the black and Hispanic votes means their “messaging worked.” And so they’ll continue mouthing MLK-esque platitudes about race and immigration—the issues that elected Trump in 2016 and he fatally ignored in 2020—and eschew the National Question and defense of the Historic American Nation. As a Venezuelan immigrant, I can say that’s a losing plan.

The GOP’s spinelessness and divorce from reality is truly mind boggling. Having blown yet another election, the party’s Conservative Inc. pundits have been gushing about increasing the GOP Hispanic vote in Miami-Dade and border counties in South Texas [Latino Voters Drifted From Democrats in Florida and Texas, by Arian Campo-Flores and Elizabeth Findell, The Wall Street Journal, November 5, 2020].

Forget that we lost the White House and both houses of Congress—we got some black and Hispanic votes!

Everyone understands the need to put the best gloss on a major loss. But their analysis of the result isn’t just flawed; it’s as if they’re living in a different world.

It is said that insurance claims for damage due to BLM/Antifa riots is in the $1 to $2 billion range. But the total cost could be much vaster. How much decline in property values did the Black Lives Matter riots and subsequent increase in murders (gun murders were up 31% in 2020 over 2019) and carjackings cause? This is a difficult empirical question to answer for multiple reasons. First, everythin...

Previously: The U.S. Military Is Woke—Patriots Must Demand Court Martials, Forced Retirements

It took the inauguration of Joe Biden, who supposedly received the most votes of any president in history, for Leftists to declare their love of the U.S. military. Last week Washington, D.C.’s ultra-Woke Leftist population greeted the National Guard that occupied the city as a liberation army—such was their crazy fear that “white supremacists” would oppose the incoming Biden regime. Frighteningly, though, the Leftists might not be wrong about the new military, given what’s been happening even under former President Trump: It might well be used to crush the Deplorables now that their agenda—America First—is being portrayed a terror threat. Even more frighteningly, cowardly military brass have accepted the mission and plan to purge the services of Right-wing dissidents [Lawmakers move to oust extremists from military, by Ellen Mitchell, The Hill, January 24, 2021] Simultaneously, of course, the armed forces will once again become a global policeman for Ruling Class militarists unhappy that Trump stalled their imperial agenda in the Middle East.

What occurred in D.C. during the inauguration would be laughable were it not so real. Restaurants that peddled Black Lives Matter propaganda offered free food to the 26,000-strong occupation force, and proudly touted how much they loved the troops. “We’re three blocks from the Capitol,” We, The Pizza manager Robert Early told the Mainstream Media. “You see what happened on January 6 and they're here to protect us” [DC restaurants donate meals to troops, first responders, by Zach Merchant, WUSA9, January 17, 2021]. Remember, Biden won DC by more than 92 percent [District of Columbia, Washington Post Electoral Results]. Washingtonians aren’t the types that shouted “These Colors Don’t Run!” during the Bush years.

Of course, before the troops rolled in, Democrats had to vet them for WrongThink. Mayor Muriel Bowser called on the Pentagon to screen and remove “anybody who cannot pledge allegiance” to the present order, whatever that means [DC mayor calls to TERMINATE National Guardsmen with ‘conflicting views’ before inauguration, RT, January 20, 2021]. Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., actually wanted the military to purge soldiers because they’re too white—white males overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump, after all [Democratic Congressman Steve Cohen Suggests National Guard Members Might ‘Want to Do Something’ to Joe Biden, by James Gordon, Daily Mail, January 18, 2021].

Above, Andrew Torba and family visiting the VDARE.com Castle in Berkeley Springs

VDARE.com Editor Peter Brimelow writes: Since we posted this interview with Gab’s Andrew Torba on June 24, 2020, the sitting President of the United States has been Cancelled by the Tech Totalitarians and they’ve inflicted more unpleasant things on VDARE.com. But Gab is surging, although the usual suspects have reportedly prevented Trump from moving to it, thus leaving him without a social media voice [Kushner Halts Trump Move to New Social Media After Twitter Ban, by Jennifer Jacobs, Bloomberg News, January 13, 2021]. The Network Solutions deplatforming threat to our domain registration was averted, but the black lady lawyer who inspired it is reportedly being appointed by Biden to the US DOJ “Civil Rights” enforcement arm.

PB: Hello, everyone! I'm Peter Brimelow, I'm the Editor of VDARE.com.

And first, a word from our sponsors: it’s actually likely, I'm afraid, that within the next 24 hours or so, that VDARE.com is going to go dark. That's because these swinish Tech Totalitarians at Network Solutions, our domain registrar, have suddenly nuked us, and they've only given us a short period of time to migrate to another domain registrar. And we're not sure that we're going to be able to make it.

We do expect to get back online. But I should say that, in the interim, we have a mirror site on the Dark Web, it is possible to get to us with the Tor Browser [VDARE’s Tor handle is f2vfjp3jc37gxgn4hum4uf2bhi2w3kp4jbzdwegrn6bvtezbhminobid.onion]

And there are other ways you can you can follow us if we actually are down: One of them is, is Parler. We have a Parler account [PB 2021: Amazon has since cut Parler off its web hosting service, so this is inoperative at the time of this transcript]. We’re on BitChute. We have a YouTube channel [PB: Also now purged our account due to “hate speech,” unknown in American law.] We’re on minds.com. We're also on VK, which is a Russian equivalent of Facebook. Facebook of course blocked us about a month ago, again on completely specious lying grounds. And also, we have an email bulletin, which I urge everyone to get on while they can [sign up here!].

And finally, of course, we are on Gab.com which is a sort of righteous equivalent of Twitter. And in fact, I have the proprietor of Gab.com with me now,  Andrew Torba. How are you, Andrew?

Andrew Torba: I’m doing well, Peter. How are you?

PB: Terrible, awful! We could do with a revolution. Or. more accurately, a counter-revolution.

AT: Listen, I've been where you are right now. You will get through this. And you know, this is the reason that I started Gab back in 2016. I saw this stuff coming. I was living and working in Silicon Valley. I know these people very well. And I know what they're capable of. And I've seen it firsthand.

Just this past week alone, Peter, we see what's happened to you guys. We ourselves were blacklisted by Visa for “hate speech.” Gavin McInnes was banned from YouTube. E. Michael Jones has his books censored by Amazon. Katie Hopkins is banned by Twitter. Carpe Donktum was banned by Twitter. And of course, the President himself had his tweets censored.

So, my question is: where are our leaders? What are they doing? This is happening to U.S. citizens. This is happening to U.S. corporations. Where are our leaders? Why are they allowing this Tech Tyranny to happen?

And you know what? What I've realized over the past four years is that no one is coming to save us. Right? No one is coming to save us. We must save ourselves. And I believe the way to save ourselves is by building. And that's exactly what we've been doing at Gab.

We've built our own web browser. We've built our own hosting infrastructure. We've built our own payment processing infrastructure. Our own email infrastructure. You name it, we've been banned from it; and I've had to build it.

But that has made us very resilient to attacks. And we don't really have many dependencies on Third Party providers. We're only dependent on ourselves.

PB: For the benefit of the Boomers who are watching this, can you explain exactly what Gab is?

Earlier, by Peter Brimelow: A Long Farewell To Donald Trump, Immigration Patriot. And Thanks.

Back in the Golden Age of Science Fiction seventy-something years ago there was a novel everyone read, title The World of Null-A. It was about a future planet Earth that had moved on from simple Aristotelean logic to something more subtle. So the "A" there stood for Aristotle.

The author, A. E. Van Vogt, was actually promoting a trendy philosophical system called General Semantics. This was one of those pseudoscientific fads that were popular in the mid-20th century, like William Sheldon's body-typing, Wilhelm Reich's theory of orgone energy, Immanuel Velikovsky's colliding planets, or J.B. Rhine's parapsychology.

I'm a bit surprised to see that the Institute of General Semantics is still around seventy years later. A bit surprised, but only a bit; these fads never disappear completely. In New York City you can still find people practicing Freudian psychoanalysis. I bet there's a Velikovsky discussion group active on the Upper West Side somewhere.

Well, I shall leave you to look up General Semantics in your own time You might also read The World of Null-A, which can still be found in the sci-fi shelves of municipal libraries. I don't actually recommend you do either thing; but hey, it's your time.

Much more relevant to current concerns would be a novel titled The World of Null-T—the "T" of course standing for Trump. We've not yet given up on Aristotle's logic, but we have, for better or worse, moved on from Trump's Presidency.

What's the verdict on that Presidency? My view: it has to be failure.

It's not that Trump did nothing in those four years. He accomplished a great deal. The evangelist group Liberty Counsel has published a list covering fourteen pages. It's naturally tilted towards evangelistic concerns, and is too heavy on neoconnery for my taste—"Restoring American Leadership Abroad," etc.—but there are some real useful actions in there. On immigration, for example, quote:
