Ok everyone, listen up!

Forgive my harsh tone but we've got some serious work to do—the RNC Winter Meeting is currently underway and we have less than 24 hours before several illegal immigration resolutions hit the General Session for vote.

Over the past week or so, Monsieur Brimelow and I have both written about the RNC and two resolutions pertaining to illegal immigration.

  1. The Randy Pullen resolution which is excellent. [here] [email him]
  2. The Bill Crocker resolution which unfortunately includes guest worker language. [email him]

Now it seems there is another resolution—sponsored by the White House—that abracadabra just tossed its hat in the ring this morning.

I haven't seen it yet (but I will post it as soon as I get it) but I think it is safe to assume that it will be all about Guest Worker Programs.

One could speculate as to why the White House would wait until the 11th hour to offer thier own language...

Hmm...my Spidey Senses tell me that the Bush II clan did not want a week's worth of public debate against their resolution before the vote. Sneaky, sneaky...

Whatever resolution the RNC adopts tomorrow will be the immigration platform of the party...surely, we all can see the urgency of the moment. We need at least one national party to embrace true immigration reform.

I think it is safe to say that the DNC would sooner endorse Karl Rove for President in 2008 than take on the problem of illegal immigration—without illegals, who would vote for the Dems?

[BB note: The opinions expressed here are not necessarily the opinions of the VDARE.com Editorial Collective...hee hee!]

Speaking of Rove, the White House Chief Advisor (umm...architect) is scheduled to speak during lunch tomorrow before the General Session...indeed, the 800 lb. gorilla is on the loose and probably working in lobbyist overdrive mode. [schedule here]

Here is the link from Peter Brimelow's article which lists RNC committee members by state [here]

Take a moment and do your part. Please, my friends...it's now or never. Forward this blog to everyone you know and get things moving!

Thanks!!

UPDATE!! My sources from the front lines (who shall remain nameless, of course) tell me that there will only be two resolutions introduced tomorrow during the General Session of the RNC Winter Meeting:

1. The Randy Pullen resolution 2. The Bill Crocker/White House resolution

The Crocker resolution has somewhat morphed into the White House resolution...a.k.a. the Guest Worker resolution.
