Q.E.D.Market Guru Marc Faber
, who like every other financial commentator has been wrong as well as right over the years, has just ended his career as Public Intellectual – by saying something irrefutably correct
In his 15-page October newsletter Faber briefly remarked
…thank God white people populated America, and not the blacks. Otherwise, the US would look like Zimbabwe, which it might look like one day anyway, but at least America enjoyed 200 years in the economic and political sun under white majority.I am not a racist, but the reality — no matter how politically incorrect — needs to be spelled out as well. (And let’s not forget that the African tribal heads were more than happy to sell their own slaves to white, black and Arab slave dealers.)
All over the MSM
journalists bored with the financial beat rushed to luxuriate in a Leftist political pogrom – and cowardly Corporate Drones started virtue signaling
reported Marc Faber Racist Diatribe Costs Him CNBC, Fox Slots; Sprott Board Seat:
According to the WSJ, the comments sparked a broad backlash from investors and market commentators Tuesday. CNBC and Fox Business Network, cable channels where he had appeared in the past, said Tuesday they don’t intend to book him in the future.
Unlike most ambushed by this sort of thing (like poor James Watson
) Faber met his assailants sword in hand. The WSJ
quotes him saying:
If stating some historical facts makes me a racist, then I suppose that I am a racist.
The general facts which make Faber correct were explicated for us back in 2004 by the much-missed J Philippe Rushton
: I.Q.: Why Africa is Africa – and Haiti Haiti
Assuming that, like university students elsewhere, the African university students on average score 15 points above the general population, the African general population average of about 70 would appear to be corroborated.
But the particular point that Blacks as a community are unable to maintain higher order societies over which by one means or another they gain political control was vividly demonstrated for us in 2012 in “Learn, Whitey, Learn!”—Paul Kersey’s ESCAPE FROM DETROIT
and in 2013 in “The Tragic City”—Birmingham AL After 50 Years. Coming To An America Near You?
This last made a particularly relevant observation:
At some point, whites are going to have to make a stand against this trend—unless they want to keep moving on every decade or two until they run out of America.
This is as true of the intellectual and business world as it is of the suburbs. Why should a man’s view of racial matters preclude him from supplying financial counsel – any more than his religious affiliation?
Curiously, I have been reading Marc Faber’s work, on and off, for more than 30 years. I distinctly remember him ferociously denouncing the South African Apartheid regime
which of course was designed to deal with the very facts the recognition of which has now got him in such trouble.
On VDARE.com there is a John Derbyshire essay
recounting how he raged against his father’s negative view of Blacks as a teenager in Britain during the so-called ‘Freedom Summer’ of 1964.
Now his view is completely different
. Why? 50 years of experience.
Marc Faber, perhaps, took only 30 years.
