I've been reading the New York Times for years and have never seen VDARE.COM mentioned by name.  But soon after Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim in effect buys the Times for $250 million, VDARE.COM starts getting attacked very prominently in the Times' editorial page not just once, but twice.

Is there a connection?  Could the Times' Mexican savior be out to get Mr. Brimelow and VDARE.COM?
