Re: James Fulford’s blog post  Of Course Romney Pays Only 14 Percent Income Tax—He Doesn't Have A Job.

From: An Anonymous Former Republican Voter [Email him]

Romney's unemployed!

You have got to be kidding me.

That may work for the confused, but not me.

You weak-knee, EZ-money, "screw you I've got mine" white Republicans have never represented the interests of my class and are simply worthless when all is said and done.

Tonight, for the first time in my life, I am voting a straight Democratic ticket.

The Republican Party must either die or be forced to outpander the Democrats for the non-White vote.

James Fulford writes: I am in fact kidding the reading public a little when I describe Romney as an unemployed victim of affirmative action. (Although in tax policy terms, it’s literally true that he is earning investment income, rather than salary. ) And that’s practically the first nice thing we’ve said about him!

We have written repeatedly on what the bipartisan alliance of Republican plutocrats and Democratic immigration enthusiasts has done to the American worker (of all colors). See, most recently,  Biden, Ryan And The Unrepresented White Working Class , by James Kirkpatrick.

As nonpartisan National Question fanatics, we are actually delighted by the reader’s response, which the GOP apparatchiks really, really, deserve.

If you want to see an example of the pure weak-knee, EZ-money, "screw you I've got mine" white Republican, I suggest reading  Ted Strickland’s Revenge | Economic patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel, By Rich Lowry, National Review Online, November 2, 2012.
