thevictimOn Friday during the Limbaugh show, WOR 710 ran the same story they ran during Thursday’s show—people in Jamaica, NY say that Trump incited a climate of hatred and is responsible for the stabbing death of a Muslim woman.

Ali Najmi, an attorney and community activist took to social media to voice his dismay with the matter, attributing some of the attacks to the country’s current political climate.

“Three murders targeting Muslims in Queens in less than a month,” Najmi wrote in a Facebook post. “It is very clear that there is an increase in targeted violence against the Muslim community in New York. Hate is on the rise. Donald Trump, please tone it down. My condolences to the family of Nazma Khanam, stabbed to death while walking home last night. Things are getting very scary and out of hand.”

There aren’t a lot of white Trump voters in Jamaica, and they don’t do much of the stabbing. If it had been a white woman, the story would have been about a "robbery gone wrong". Instead, NYC cops assigned the case to the Hate Crimes bureau.

After several days of media blaming Trump, police arrested an (illegal?) Hispanic in stabbing of the Bengali woman in Jamaica, Queens—so police say it's not a hate crime

JAMAICA, Queens (WABC)

Police have made an arrest in the murder of a 60-year-old woman who was stabbed to death in Queens Wednesday night, as she walked home from a grocery store with her husband.

The NYPD says 22-year-old Yonatan Galvez-Marin is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.[More]

Police say the motive was robbery, not a hate crime as many members of the Muslim community in Queens first thought. No mention of whether the Hispanic  is illegal; no apology for blaming Trump.
