The hourly Yahoo lie about Trump (actually, there probably is more than one per hour, as the Yahoo News page is almost all anti-Trump) is this:

Perhaps the best rebuttal to the idea that religious leaders operate under a clergy “gag” law is the fact that the Johnson Amendment is currently unenforced. So regardless of whether a pastor follows the tax code by separating his personal endorsements from his role with a church, the IRS is not investigating or penalizing churches for political speech.

Trump vows to protect pastors from nonexistent IRS threat

By Amy Sullivan, Yahoo News, August 11, 2016

The IRS threat is non-existent only because the IRS does not enforce the law. If the majority of preachers endorsed Tea Party candidates rather than Leftists, the IRS would go after them.

James Fulford writes: This is a typical case of the law being enforced only against those who obey it. White, conservative preachers are aware of the law and obey it, black pastors ignore it—and may not even have heard of it.
