Re: Patrick Cleburne's post Is Bill Kristol The GOP's Darth Vader On Immigration?

From: An Anonymous Reader [Email him]

The sinister force [Neocon refusal to allow opposition to Obama's Administrative Amnesty] to which Patrick Cleburne has referred is, I fear, all too real. Making this explicit is, as I'm sure you're well aware, a likely suicide mission given the ubiquity and power of our minders in the media.

However, the following linked item might provide a basis for inching a bit closer to the truth:  Bill Kristol: Obama’s immigration announcement was his ‘anti-Marco Rubio initiative’, The Daily Caller, June 17, 2012.

When I first saw the Obama announcement and not being aware of Romney's capitulation I thought, hey, the silver lining might be that this will ruin Rubio's VP chances. Then I saw the linked piece on Kristol's reaction and thought, hmm, my reaction may not have been too far off the mark.

James Fulford writes: Kristol thinks that Romney needs to fight back against Obama's treasonous, unconstitutional attempt to establish the DREAM act by executive fiat by taking "the lead on this. In my view, raise Marco Rubio’s DREAM Act, if that is what he wants and let’s pass it in Congress."

I presume that's an attempt to garner imaginary Hispanic votes for the GOP. And nominating Rubio as Romney's VP would add even more imaginary votes.
