You say that 9.6% of fourth generation Mexican Americans have a college education. While this may be true—don't know that it is—at least in some parts of Mexico, that isn't the case.

I'm part Danish and Mexican of Spanish descent, so spare me your racist comments.

In the Mexican states of Baja California and Nuevo Leon, the ratio of college grads exceeds that of the U.S. My impression has been that most whites in the U.S. are more interested in getting technical degrees.

Very few are getting into engineering or math. The U.S. is having to import people from other countries, including Mexico.

Naturally, Mexicans who came to the U.S. as laborers will not represent Mexico's finest. What would the ratio of college grads be if trailer trash be after four generations? Just look at the South.

His claim to be "Danish and Mexican of Spanish descent" is in itself a racist comment—he's claiming to be racially distinct from the majority of Mexicans, who are either Indian or mestizo.

While I don't know if he's right about Baja California and Nuevo Leon having more college graduates than the US taken as whole, I do know that they have more college graduates than Chiapas.  Baja  and Nuevo Leon are where the white Mexicans come from, Chiapas is largely Indian, including Mixtecs who haven't, in the past 500 years, assimilated enough to learn Spanish. They're now coming to America.

Also, Americans aren't "getting into engineering or math" because they've been displaced by immigrants, very few of them from Mexico. As for the bright Mexicans, they've mostly been staying home, which is our point.
